Welcome Spring

Dear Addie,

Spring has sprung and the showers now pour, but it’s not all that bad because old friends are at our door.

Here they come wiggling their way, out of the ground on a very rainy day.

There’s no mistaking the joy on your face, as you set out to move them to a brand-new place.

It’s spring, Addie! The time of year when we can’t walk but two feet after a good storm without picking up, inspecting & relocating every worm in sight.

As long as I can remember you’ve been fascinated with small living things from insects, bugs, to amphibian & reptile-esk type creatures…basically anything easily picked up and I use the term “easily” loosely because I couldn’t (nor would I want to) attempt picking up or catching most of these things. Wiggly worms, fuzzy bees, crawly ants, colorful butterflies, bumpy toads – It’s all a zoo at your fingertips only I'm pretty sure they aren't 100% thrilled by your admission to their park ;)

Welcome to spring baby girl! Remember to be gentle and can we just make a deal to keep your zoo outside?

Love you!

Mom
